League Positions on Local and State Measures

Vote No on Los Altos Measure D

Our League Board voted to oppose Los Altos Measure D, the “Los Altos Downtown Parking Plazas Ordinance”. This ballot measure would require a city-funded election for each and every modification of the downtown parking plazas except for maintenance and limited affordable housing.

Vote Yes on Proposition 4

Reduce big money of wealthy special interests in politics by lifting the ban on public financing for elections, giving people a stronger voice. The League is an official opponent. Check out the facts on Prop 4 and read the 1-page policy overview.

Vote NO on Proposition 39.

Prop 39 is the partisan power grab designed to make voting harder, intrude on your privacy, and throw out eligible ballots. The League is an official opponent. Check out the fact sheet.

Take Action

Election Heros!

As we start casting our votes, it is important to recognize the work election workers and administrators do in our communities to ensure we can make our voices heard at the ballot box. They’ve been working tirelessly to prepare for this year’s elections, so be sure to thank them for all they do as we head into Election Day.

  • If a collector is at the dropbox when you bring your ballot, say thank you.
  • If you vote in person, thank the poll workers.
  • If you know a phone banker, thank them for taking the time to get out the vote.
  • If you know any community members who make our elections happen, thank them.

End of Year Documents

End of Year Documents 2025-26

Each year, we hold our Annual Meeting. We update our membership on what we have been doing for the past year and our financial status. We elect a new slate of officers and approve a budget for the following year. The minutes of the Annual Meeting are recorded by our secretary and reviewed by three non-Board members. Our bylaws require that we send to our membership the reviewed version of the Annual Meeting minutes and our end-of-the-year financials. You may review that information below.
