Education Committee

The Education Committee includes League members from all five Santa Clara County Leagues and meets about six times a year. We discuss educational ideas and challenges common across the county and the state.

Meeting topics span a broad range of education issues – early childhood education, kindergarten through 12th. grade, community colleges, and state higher education.  In addition, we look at state legislative bills that affect education and the state budget. 

How to get Involved

Our Education Committee meets locally for lunch on the fourth Monday of the month in May, June, August, October, January, and March. If you’d like to join us, please email education@lwvlamv.org and you will be put on the email list for the next meeting agenda and location.
