| | | From LWV Los Altos Mountain View Area... | League Interviews with State Legislators
Every year the League of Women Voters of California asks members from each legislative district (state senate and assembly) to interview their elected representatives, both to find out what those representatives are working on and to share our interests with them. These are our annual "Legislative Interviews."
LWVLAMV committee members joined with Leagues from South San Mateo County, Southwest Santa Clara Valley, San Jose-Santa Clara, Cupertino-Sunnyvale, and Palo Alto.
We interviewed State Senator Josh Becker and Assemblymember Marc Berman on this mission. Click on the legislator’s name to read the complete interview on the website. | Get More Active With the League!

The current administration is working to make voting harder—and now, similar efforts are happening right here in California. AB 25 (DeMaio) is a dangerous bill that would put up new barriers to voting, especially for low-income voters, the elderly, young voters, people with disabilities, and communities of color.
The League of Women Voters of California is fighting AB 25. Every voter deserves the freedom to cast their ballot without fear of interference. See a letter to state lawmakers urging them to reject this attack on our democracy.
You can contact our local assembly member Marc Berman and make your voice heard to never let this bill hit the assembly floor for a vote. |
