About this event
Join us to discuss what a new League's position on the federal judiciary should be.
The federal judiciary is an essential component of our democracy, yet the League does not have a position on it. We invite you to participate in the study to discuss important issues such as judicial accountability, transparency, independence, and ethics related to the Supreme Court as well as the lower federal courts. LWVUS then will formulate the Leagus's position on this important topic based on input from our League and others across the country.
We will soon have some background materials available to help you to prepare for the discussions. We will join the Palo Alto League for the discussions, which will be held on Saturday, March 1st, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Peninsula Conservation Center (Raptor Room) , 3921 E. Bayshore Rd, Palo Alto.
