Members - come celebrate another successful year with the League of Women Voters of Los Altos / Mountain View. Our business meeting will precede the luncheon. The speaker will be Sally Lieber, Assemblywoman of the 22nd Assembly District. She will give us an update of the current state of legislation in this session -- and insights into what it means to be Speaker Pro Tem of the Assembly. Reservations are required for the luncheon. Send your check, made out to LWVLAMV, for $22.00, to Rosanne Kapur at the League office at 97 Hillview Avenue, Los Altos,CA 94022.

Friday, June 13, 2008-Tuesday, June 17, 2008		Portland, Oregon	LWVUS Convention. This is the national convention of the League of Women Voters. LWVLAMV will send the following delegates: Sue Graham, Jane Turnbull and Ellen Wheeler, as well as representatives: Crownie Billik and Barbara Wardenburger.

To League board members, off-board consultants: On Tuesday, June 24 there will be a meeting for old and new members to meet and share information about their jobs. Agenda 5:30 -- Supper and socializing 6:30 -- Call to order by president, Coeta Chambers Discussion of any old business Introduction of new president, Sue Graham 7:00 -- Welcome and self-introductions of all attending Review of program planning priorities and goals for the year Input of ideas from those attending 8:00 -- Adjourn Note: Food and beverage will be provided by the old board members.
